Here we are! The big day has arrived. Soon it will be time to take off. Anticipation is starting to set in!

But what do you need to do in order to prepare for your flight?

In terms of your outfit, we recommend bringing a windbreaker or a jacket because once in the air the wind can be chilly and hamper the enjoyment of your flight.
Sunglasses are strongly recommended, remember that a paraglider can go up to 30 kilometers per hour. Therefore the wind that comes in your eyes can be annoying. You want to make sure your eyes are open the whole time to enjoy the scenery that this experience offers.
Finally, we make it compulsory to wear closed shoes because on takeoff, depending on the conditions, you will have to run a few meters to take off with your pilot.

Next, make sure you leave early to arrive at our school 15 minutes early to avoid more stress before getting in the shuttle. Furthermore, a passenger who is late will delay our entire schedule and we reserve the right to leave without you. Please be aware that traffic jams on the road to and from Annecy can be long, especially in summer. Please see our dedicated page on how to get to our school.

In addition, be sure to properly digest your previous meal, so as to avoid any hiccups once in the air! No fondue or raclette before the flight!

And finally, do not hesitate to contact us for any further details. Feel free to peruse our various blog posts on tandem paragliding.

See you soon!
