NEW 2025: SIV & XC in Annecy, France

This 5-day course will change the trajectory of your flying career.

Malin Lobb along with Russ Ogden, Barney Woodhead and Guy Anderson, set up the British Paragliding Racing Academy (BPRA) in 2016 to train the future British team, nearly a decade later it has produced a European champion, a World champion, a Gold, and Silver medal team.

Now for the first time, this knowledge is coming to the general public.

Combined with Flyeo’s world-renowned SIV course, sports psychology training, in-depth tracklog debriefs, SIV video debriefs and hours of pre-course content online, we believe that we have created the most technically advanced paragliding course in the world.

With two instructors and only 6 pilots, you will have lots of one-on-one time with us.

This is an intermediate to advanced course.

You can’t teach a drowning man to swim and you can’t magically learn how to fly faster and more efficiently if you have never even gone cross country before.

This course is aimed at pilots who can already go XC (around 50k or more), can spend more than two hours in the air without being too tired, and have maybe done a couple of competitions

If all of your bandwidth is taken up with controlling your wing and focusing on climbing in turbulent air you are not quite ready for this course.

Over the 5 days we will select the best weather to go XC and the marginal weather to do SIV. We might do an SIV flight in the morning and then an XC task in the afternoon, we will remain flexible to maximise each day.

This isn’t a big distance XC course, this is a course that will break down the skills you need to fly faster and more efficiently so you can go away and smash all of your personal best flights or start to get on the podium in competitions. If we have an epic day and you are up for it then we can push to maximise the day and try and get your first 100k/200k.

Each day will have a focus and will build progressively from the last. We will do in-depth debriefs and combine your progress with sports psychology to monitor your progress.

You are the most important factor under your wing, and we will not be there after the course, therefore you must commit to truly learning, to free up your bandwidth, and to be able to use your knowledge in the real world. This course will give you the mental and technical skills to take your flying to the next level.

We accompany you on the radio, whether in SIV or XC helping you to apply the knowledge that you have learned.

Annecy is one of the best places in the world to fly XC and do SIV, so with this course, you couldn’t be in a better location.
